Once 5500PK got out of high school he met up with his friend Leigh Paris. Once together, 5500PK teamed up with Leigh Paris and that’s where he adopted the 5500 in his name. If I’m not working on a song or project with one of my peers or my friends then I’m recording myself. I make sure I eat good before I go to the studio. Then I roll up and smoke while I’m going through beats. Once I find a beat I load it into protools and just go off how I feel or what I’m going through in life at that time.”
